KEEP WALKING....

When life throws lemons you make lemonade they say,
When you're just lost, there seems to be no other way,
When at the door of opportunity no one seems to be knocking,
You carry on like there's nothing wrong, you just keep walking.

When empty promises stare you in the face,
When you're lagging far behind in the race,
When random faces in the crowd just seem to be mocking,
You carry on like you just don't care, you just keep walking.

When you close your eyes but there is no sleep,
When there are no tears in your eyes but you silently weep,
When the whole night to yourself you've been talking,
You carry on like its a part of you, you just keep walking.

When you're out but there's no place to go,
When you've searched for it everywhere, high and low,
When there is no future, an empty slate you've been chalking,
You carry on like it was meant to be, you just keep walking.

When you're knocking gently at the gates of hell,
When you don't know if there's a place for you, you cant tell,
When the last thing you remember is your grave's locking,
You've carried on, you gave it your all, you just kept walking....
